  • 可選的 AI 助手（需登錄，有每日次數限制）；
  • 賬戶相關功能，如收藏、閱讀進度、瀏覽歷史、筆記等；
  • 休閒棋類小遊戲等附屬內容。

免費用戶可瀏覽、預覽與在線閱讀；電子書離線閱讀與更高 AI 配額等付費權益，以會員方案頁當前說明為準。

3. 賬戶

  • 部分功能需要註冊並登錄（郵箱或第三方登錄，如 Google）。

Welcome to MoShuYuan (墨书院) at www.moshuyuan.com (“we”, “us”, or “the Site”). These Terms explain the basic rules for using our website and paid features. By visiting or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

2. What we offer

MoShuYuan is a Chinese classics and language learning site. We provide:

  • Online reading and browsing of public-domain (or otherwise authorized) classical texts, plus offline ebook reading where your membership allows;
  • Chinese dictionary and idiom lookup tools;
  • An optional AI assistant (login required; daily usage limits apply);
  • Account features such as favorites, reading progress, history, and notes;
  • Small board games and similar extras.

Free users can browse, preview, and read online. Paid benefits (offline ebook reading, higher AI limits, and so on) are described on the membership page.

3. Accounts

  • Some features require an account (email or a third-party login such as Google).
  • Keep your login details safe and use accurate contact information.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account. Contact us if you notice anything wrong.
  • We may restrict or close accounts involved in fraud, abuse, or breaches of these Terms.

4. Acceptable use

Please do not:

  • Scrape, bulk-download, or bypass access controls with automated tools;
  • Attack or disrupt the service, or try to access other people’s accounts or data;
  • Commercially resell or publicly redistribute paid offline-reading content beyond personal study use (lawful use of public-domain source texts themselves is separate);
  • Abuse the AI assistant (for example by flooding requests or generating illegal or infringing content);
  • Post illegal, infringing, fraudulent, or harmful material.

We may rate-limit, temporarily block, or take other reasonable steps against abuse.

5. Content and intellectual property

  • Classical texts on the Site are generally public-domain or otherwise authorized. Our own navigation, blurbs, tags, layout, and software belong to us or the relevant rights holders.
  • Dictionary and idiom materials are compiled from public linguistic resources for learning and lookup.
  • If you believe content infringes your rights, email us with enough detail to investigate; we will act promptly after verification.
  • AI outputs may be wrong or incomplete. They are for reference only and are not professional advice. You decide how to use them.

6. Changes and availability

We aim for reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may update features, adjust limits, perform maintenance, or remove content. We will try to give notice of major changes. “Lifetime” membership means the matching offline-reading rights remain available while the Site is operating normally—it is not a guarantee that the website will exist forever.

7. Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the Site is provided “as is.” We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, lost profits, or data loss. Our total liability for any claim related to the Site will not exceed the amount you paid us for the matter in dispute (if any).
